Can someone tell me if anyone or any one of your friend went to canada and came back in 30 days without been asked for valid passport US visa stamp?

I mean if you take my situation. I have valid H1B but no stamp on the passport because I have been in usa more the 5 years and this is my 2nd term of the H1B and I did not go out of USA to get the new stamp.

I want to know if I take land border what do they check while coming back in US . And which Land border is good for this.

Pablo,

If you have valid I-94 with previous expired visa there is no problem you can go and re enter in the U.S. from Canada or Mexico.

Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months.you do not fly out of Canada(Do not leave extended teretories)


You must come back within 30 days.

it is call 30 days avr (automatic visa revalidation)

I am holding F1 visa, and I want to land in Canada recently. Is the 30 days rule available for me?

Hi Pablo, my name is Shahid. I was wondering if you ended up travelling to Canada and came back to the US without the H1 B visa stamping. I'm in the same situation as you and need to travel to canada but dont have H1 B stamp in my passport. Please let me know if you have any problems and also if you have any info on that 30 automatic re-entry rule??
