I landed in Canada but didn't apply for the PR card and have been outside of Canada most of the time. Now I plan to come to Canada, stay a few weeks, travel abroad and come back again to stay for a longer time (at least long enough to fulfill the residency obligation).
I understand it normally takes more than 2 months to get a PR card and I cannot wait that long. Any experiences with expedited processing of the PR card? How long might that take?
I will be applying for the Travel Document (Permanent Resident Abroad)? Is this a stamp in the passport or a separate document? Can it be used for multiple entries? How long is the validity?
