I don't recall if my wife was asked if she traveled outside the US from the time of filling to the time of the interview. On the day of the interview, she was scheduled to depart in the evening for a trip overseas. She did tell the IO that she was going to leave the country that night and when she was going to be back. The IO didn't seem to care and told my wife that she will receive her oath notice in the mail and she can reschedule it if it is not a good time.
On the back of the oath scheduling notice is a bunch of questions that ask what you have done from the date of the interview. One of the questions asked if you traveled outside the US since the interview. My wife marked yes, and I told her to bring a copy of her flight confirmation in case they ask. She said the IO that checked her in asked what countries and how many dates. The IO then wrote that info down on my wife's questionnaire, asked my wife to initial it and then moved on.
