Can you share your passport stamping experience in NYC INS office?

We got our I-485 approval email last week, but found out that out biometrics haven't been done yet.

Since it seems at least 2 more months to get the card in such situation, and I might need to start a new job soon, I made an infoPass appointment in NYC Federal Plaza office next week to get the passport stamping. Can anyone pls kindly share your passport stamping experience, such as:

1. Do they stamp? I remember somenone posted a msg before said NYC don't want to stamp.
2. What's the documents you bring besides passport and approval notice?
3. What's the question they usually ask? Is there an interview?

I am in the same situation as you. I need to travel urgently. Am going to try to get passport stamp with an infopass. Hoping it gets done.
