Can you please help understand why I got this letter?

I applied for citizenship back in mid July and I did my fingerprints in late July, but my status online is still "initial review".

Back in mid August, I had an infopass and I was informed that my namecheck was still pending. Since then no news.

Today I received a letter from NBC stating my birthdate and my address. It asks me if there was any changes in my birth or address. If so, I should inform the NBC of any change.

Moreover, the letter says once all records checks are received, I should be scheduled an interview.

Did any one receive such a letter where you have to confirm your birth and address? what is the point of this letter?

Moreover, does it mean that namecheck is still pending?

Please advise.

Did you ever submit an e-request? Or a service request about the status of your case via calling the USCIS customer service?
