Can you file for two I-485s?

Hello gurus,

I was wondering if I am allowed to file for I-485 based on my NIW now and then file for I-485 based on my LC after 6 months?

Any input will be appreciated.
 
Yes you can (this was apparently changed a couple of years ago, there was a time when you couldn't).

Is it smart ? Don't know. You will create a shit-storm of fingerprint notices, RFEs for medicals and an infinite number of opportunities for the dim-wits at USCIS to f#()_+ things up.
