Can you believe this un-believable processing time for TSC???

Could anyone, please, explain
...what exactly make TSC processing so painfull for us compared to other service centers?
Is it just the greater volume of application submitted they cannot handle or just plain incompetence or may be they just understaffed?
It\'s got to be something!
It was really striking to me reading a message from a guy who applied at VCS with a notice date of December, 01 2001 or such and he was so remarkably angry about not getting his FP by now.
A lot of people here have been waiting for well over six month for their FP [the earliest I\'ve seen was January 2001].
I would really like to hear what this guy would say if he be in our shoes
