One of my friend applied for EAD and it is past 90 days. Now there is an RFE on his EAD ( Details not known yet).
Is it possible to apply for interim EAD in this situation ?
I don't know, but why not give it a try? When you go for iEAD they verify all documents and probably even check with VSC. Your friend will come to know then and there what is to happen which might help a lot of folks on this forum.
As my understanding, they start recounting the 90 days after REF is received, which means you have to wait at least for another 3 months. However, you can always have a try and maybe you have good luck.
Somebody had related a story several weeks ago- interim EAD will not be issues if there is any kind of RFE pending on EAD or 140.
No harm in trying anyway.
