Hi to all,

It might be a simple and silly question. Would a State ID be fine as a proof of residency during the naturalization interview? I have it scheduled tomorrow. Your answer would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

well, you can use state ID as one of the proof of residency of the state you live in. if you can gather the rental agreement, bank acct info which show your home address / mailing address, that would be good too.

are you worrying about the 3 months residency in the state prior filing n400?

Naturalization Interview tomorrow in Baltimore.

I had a florida driver license that would have taken more time to process. A state ID was fairly fast. I have been living in my state (MD) for over a year. I am scheduled to have my interview tomorrow morning. I have sent a FOIPA request and it came back with "NO RECORD". Does it really mean that there is no hit or no records? Any last advice on this interview process. I am a little bit anxious. It would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

did you have a list of items you are going to bring with you?
go thru your list and see if you miss anything. go thru your n400 form again and refresh yourself about what you wrote down on the form. they will ask you to verify the information again.

study the 100 questions.. and RELAX!

be there early.. and wish all the best.

regarding the FOIPA came back with "NO RECORD", i was told it is different than the name check. i am not too sure. however, since tomorrow is your interview, you should not even worry much about FOIPA and name check now. it is nothing you can do at this moment. why worry if it is out of your control. just deal with it when it comes.
