It may be a dumb question? But can we sue them for this delay and retrogression. Reason can be bleak future, unreasonable delay, mental stress or anything.......

MAY BE WE CAN FILE A LAW SUITE TO GET ACTUAL INFORMATION OF VISA DATES!!

Main reason which I see - Lack of visa numbers - which is not our problem, it is flaw and mistake done by whoever put 245(i) in the process, they were supposed to increase visa numbers.

this has been discussed several times........i will repeat that we cannot sue them because they are not providing any service for a fee.......and they are not directly responsible for our plight........and that will lead to the question: is GC a right??.....and the answer is it is not......if you qualify and stand in the queue long enough you may get it....otherwise you may go somewhere else.....we dont care......all the laws we implement to make sure that our citizens dont get harmed.....yadi yadi...

The market has picked up well and there are jobs vacant and new h1bs are being sucked in and still the market is demanding more. Protecting citizens from who????

ask some of the lazy ass who think they can make more money....and their jobs wud have been more secured if H1Bs were not there.......some of them even think that they can get the jobs easily if not for the highly competitive H1B guys...

Being protective and keeping competition away does not assure job security. I just think most complaints about job replacements come from the lazy fat people who sit at home, claim unemployment benefits, eat lot of burgers and complain that an "h1b from India stole his job".

Wherever I go for contracting jobs, I find the employees more worried about about job security than the contractors. Contractors are always happy with the money.
