Can we send our son to India?

I-485 Reciept Notice Date May 2003.
We want to send our son to India for 1 year, aged 9 years.
What if I-485 approval notice comes when he is in India?
He has Advanced parole.

if he has advanced parole, the officer will let him in, even if his I-485 is approved. Many people have been through this same scenario. Wait for him to arrive before you go get your passport stamped to make sure that his Advance Parole is still valid for his return.
