Can we postpone the interview?

I got an appointment for Feb. 14. I am still single and was wondering if I can get the interview date postponed and hopefully get married in the mean time. I am currently in India on an unpaid vacation and was wondering if one of you could tell me if postponing the interview is extremely risky.

Dont postpone

If you are on an unpaid vacation, it is extremely risky to postpone your interview. You have to show them your current pay stubs and your bank statements. What\'s the problem, get married before your interview date and let the consulate know that you got married and you want your wife to be included in your application.

Yes U can postpone. Intimate the US Consulate well in advance. They will give u another date; usually about 2-3 months later.

I would suggest go ahead with the interview. Since your interview is on 14th of Feb, don\'t forget to take a bunch of roses just in case you find a single girl there for Valentine\'s Day proposal !! Go for the double-kill man!!
