Can We Go To ANY INS Office For PP Stamping??

My family and I will be travelling around the U.S. over the next few months, partly for work and partly for pleasure.

Does anyone know for sure if one must absolutely go for PP stamping at the INS office with jurisdiction over my residence, or can I go to any U.S. INS office??
 
Your approval letter should specify which INS office you need to go to for the passport stamping. It will also mention the days you can go for stamping.

My case was a bit different - someone changed my address in the system by mistake to Tampa though I live in Miami. Due to this error, my approval letter instructed me to go to the INS office in Tampa.
I took the letter to the INS office in Miami and explained the issue to them - they let me go in and no problem after that.
