Can we get stamped without the approval notice?

As long as our I-485 is approved, why do we have to wait for the notice? Does INS require one to show the notice when one goes for stamping? I\'m sure the officer will still punch the EAC number into the computer to verify the information. So why wait for the notice?

Do anybody know about it?
 
take it easy, buddy? why you are so ANXIOUS to get that? you are already approved. relax.

It is just a few days!! If you do not have approval notice, what if INS punch a wrong EAC number and say you are NOT approved.
Or I am not approved and I go to stamp and hope INS punch your EAC number!!

why many exams require two forms of ID and obviously one ID is derived from another ID. This is just the law.
you should feel relax now and not fight for that couple of days.

Looks like you are going to get fired tomorrow. Unbelievable!
