Can we get RFE after FP?

Hi!
I just got my FP notice - EB3, India, PD Aug 98, ND 02/11/00.
Is there a chance I will get RFE? According to last visa bulletin, the priority dates for EB3 are going to move forward in a
similar way as the last bulletin - last month, for EB3, they moved 4 months.. assuming they move at the same rate (4 months
per month), mine should get current in another 3 months time.. Right now VSC is processing October 99 cases..
assuming they would be done with each month\'s applications in a month, they would reach my ND in 4 months..
How long is it taking to get FP approvals? how can we find out about it? is there anything else we need to do to make sure
everything is going on ok - that the FBI received the prints ok etc etc?

are these assumptions realistic?

After about a week of your fingerprinting, call up FBI ( 304-625-5590 Mon-Fri 8am-9pm Select #4) and check status for the FP using your Alien#.

You can very well expect to receive RFE after FP. The actually processing takes place after FP approval has been received by INS.

Please could you keep me posted on your status? My details are similar to yours (PD 12/98, ND 02/00, EB3, India, VSC) and have the same questions about PD movement/VSC processing time etc.

Once you have done FP You can call very next day FBI and find out the status, sometimes they check and send to INS Sameday, and some times it takes a week. FP is starting process on your application, once FP is done they will check all papers and if anything is missing they may send RFE.
