Hi all,
I came to know there are instances where we have to simply drop our passport in the drop box along with the documents requested in 221(g) There is no time frame for this process to complete so there are cases where some got back their passport stamped in 4 weeks and some waiting for more than 6 months.
My query is can someone get their passport back if they wish to terminate the administration process or one has to wait even it takes years for the administration process to complete irrespective of their interested in H1B by then ? If so won’t it be grossly unfair since concerned person would be missing other abroad opportunities till administration process ends or it is the risk we have to take for getting H1B ?
