Can we do walk-in finger printing at Charlotte Field Office ?

Hello everyone.

Anyone has had any experience of having their finger printing done at Charlotte field office before the appointment. I need to get it done for my I-751, condition removal to get my 10 yr green card.

Are there any specific days or time of the day that they accept walk-ins ?

You can attempt a walk-in anywhere. I don't think any of the offices has a full-time ban on walk-ins, although none of them accepts of 100% of all walk-ins either.

Generally, Wednesdays are the days when they're most accepting of walk-ins.
 
Just had my finger printing at Charlotte field office at building 10 chastain ave.

Good parking spot, very nice staff, not many people, was in and out in 25 minutes and they usually take walkins if there are not many people especially on wednesdays.

Hope it would help someone.
 
Why is only Wednesday a good day. What would be a good day to walk in at the San Antonio ASC? Is going early better or late if one is walking in?
 
Wednesday is the day the offices are more accepting of walk-ins. That's just how they operate. But that doesn't mean the other days are bad days.

Mid-day is probably the best time, like 11:00 - 1:00. Too early, and there will be many people they haven't processed yet. Too late, and they don't know if they'll be able to accommodate you before the end of the day.

But don't bother with a walk-in if you think it's going to speed up your processing. There is no evidence that walk-ins have that effect. They will process the next step according to when they planned to process it. Do the walk-in only if you will have a problem making it to the official appointment date.
 
Can a person do a walk in after having applied for Re Entry Permit. After how many days of applying can a person do a walk in?

Once you have the biometrics notice, you can attempt a walk-in on any day their office is open. With any walk-in, acceptance is not guaranteed, but if they reject you it's not because you are X days too early.
