Can we do passport stamping somewhere else?

I got approval for I 485 for my wife. She has to appear for passport stamping at Baltimore, MD. I am presently on a project assignment at WEST COAST. Can we get passport stamped at the local INS office in San Francisco area.

I believe you cannot stamp your passport in SF. But try that, they won\'t cancel the approval just because you try to stamp the passport at the wrong place.

today we received the copy of approval notice from INS. Can we go to local INS to get our passport stamping by holding our copies, without the contesy copy which INS sent to my lawyer? because my lawyer said he still not received it yet. and we don\'t want to wait it. any input?
