This is most controversial topic and often trigger a flame war and caused many casualties.

If you have a choice it is always better to stay with the sponsoring employer for atleast 6-12 months. If the new offer is so irresistable, then you may take the risk and jump off. It might be worth the risk.
Again as "americanwannabe" pointed out, this is a controversial topic and you will find equal number of arguers at both end.

As far as i am concerned, i am a man who wants peace of mind. Therefore i would stick with the sponsoring employer for atleast 1 year.

Yes, you can , but only with your lawyers advice. Hope it helps.:D :D :D

I am surprised to see this comments about switching jobs. I see people changing their jobs using AC21 and their case is being approved. Switching after GC will create issues???

That is why I am now nostalgic about JoeF.

AC21 says you can change your job when your I485 is pending
before you getthe GC. It does not say you can immediately
change job AFTER you get the GC.

If you change the job before GC approval using AC21,
then someone say at the time of getting GC, you
should have the intent to work for your new employer.

So far, we have not seen any rejection on the basis of leaving the company immediately after getting GC and I know lot of people who have done so in the past. Had it been so, USCIS would have made a law that you should stick to the company for 1 more year after 485 approval. On the contrary, they have made the law of AC21 to give more flexibility. So, I don't think there is any problem. You can give the same reason that you can after working for the same employer for 1 year.
I think if anyone is getting a better opportunity, u should move on. No need to get exploited any further just because of the status.
