Can we apply multiple I-485

Me and my wife are working for different employers. we are now current for I-485
can we apply both of us I-485 at same time?

I mean

Thr my application I am the principal applicant and my wife is dependent (spouse)

Thr my wife application I am the spouse and she is the principal applicant.


Please let me know if some one knew this answer.

Yes you can. Though eventually they will ask you to merge the cases, meaning more work down the line.
I am in exactly the same situation and am putting my wife onto my application.
