Hi,

My wife has gotten appointment for H4 visa in July which is over 3 months.

I was wondering if I can go to Hong Kong or neighboring consulate (singapore) to get H4 visa where wait times are less than a day.

Has anyone done this before? Your response is much appreciated...

If it is first time (non extension/change of visa) applying for a visa, I dont think neighbouring countries is an option. If it is extension, it is possible to try in Canada or Mexico (but if the visa gets rejected - for any reason), you will have to go back to home country before you can enter US.
