Can we apply for EAD by both paper and efiling ?

Hi,

As BCIS may issue RFE for photos etc, for EAD renewal, can we apply by both paper/efile at the same time for renewal.

The reason I am asking is, I filed for EAD renewal by paper/lawyer
yesterday. But my current EAD expires on 10/20/03. So I wanted
to be safe.

Hence tying to know, whether I can do both or not?

yeah..do both..confuse them and get your EAD delayed..then call them again and again and get it delayed more..is this what you want ?? :D :D
When they are introducing a new service for your benefit, why do you want to find loopholes and combine the two procedures ???

I thought the way it would help me is...

BCIS takes photos. So no RFE for that
Then there they will check all the docs. If they need some more,
they will ask you. So that no RFE.

But from all other responses, my idea seems to be foolish. so not going to do anything.

ps123, I don't know when you filled your EAD application, but you will be eligible for interim EAD after 90 days since RD. Do math.

get iEAD even if RFE was isued for renewal of EAD? After 90-days?

While the RFE is in the process of responding ?
