can visitors be claimed for tax exemption

Hello:
My mom came to visit us and gonna stay with us till 03/02/2004(for 179 days.)
Her I94 is till 03/05/2004(which is around 181 days)
Is it possible for me to claim her as dependent while i am filing for tax?
Is it possible to get a ITIN number for the visitors?
