Can Two 140's Linked to one 485/EAD/AP

Hello friends,

I had a question,

We filed the EAD/AP/485 as shown in my signature. If my spouse also got his 140 approved on a seperate petition with different company. Is it possible to link that 140 approved to the 485 petition which is allready pending with USCIS. Just thinking to take advantage of PD if that one is older. If it possible what section/document it is covered.

interestingly...yes its possible......why would you want to do that ??

Only one thing,

My priority date is Aug 03 and my spouse PD is Mar 02.

Not sure how soon the PD will become current to Aug 03. If we have that linked just thinking it would benifit to processes our 485 faster if the PD moves to march 02 instead of waiting until 03.

What kind of process it would be, if we have to link ?

Just a brain storming thought...

USCIS processes 485 petitions filed as per its filing date and not based on priority date....
...Interestingly If that was the case (my PD is dec 2001)....My case should have been processed by now :D :D
