Can the INS RFE twice..?

Can the INS RFE you once (say employment/paystbus) and then if no decision has been made on your application, RFE you again for the same (employment letter) after a few (5, 6, 7 ??) months. Anyone having any experience, please share..

I know someone RFE\'ed twice

His case was approved more than half a year ago, but he had been RFE\'ed twice before that. I didn\'t ask for more detail but he was basically asked to provide pay stub and company info, such kind of things.

Hope this won\'t happen to us.
