Hi,
My EAD is running out at the end of June. I have applied for a renewal but it is not done yet. Can not walk-in till August.
If I am the main applicant, is it possible for my wife to work after the EAD expires? The easiest way is not telling her employer. How can INS find out that she did this?
Also, is it possible for her to get an H-1 now or does that screw things up.
I read one can be out of status for 180 days without doing I 485 any harm, due to 245 (k) option?
Any suggestions?
