Can someone post their L1B to GC Experience ...

My company is planning on filing my GC. I am currently on an L1B visa. I know that it is not required to transfer it to L1A prior to the filing of GC if one is already doing managerial activities in addition to technical activities.

Can someone post their experience of L1B to GC?

Specifically, any information on the following will help immensely.

  1. What documents are required over the course of the whole process from employee such as birth certificate, medical exam certificate etc?
  2. What are the gotchas that one needs to be aware of?
  3. How long does it take to get the GC from an L1B visa assuming from retrogressed country?

Any information pertaining to this would be enormously appreciated.
