Can someone please answer this simple question for me?? ...
Hi, I am going for my H1B stamping in Delhi sometime at the end of this year. I want to visit Dubai as well while I am waiting for my H1B to be stamped (I have a DUI misdemeanor and from posts here, I understand it will take at least 4 weeks to verify).
My question is - do they give you the passport back after initial interview while they send verifications to FBI? Or do they keep it for the entire duration and only give it back once they stamp it.
Anyone with any experience please reply - appreciate your help!
