can someone help please (INfopass question)?

I have been trying to get an infopass appointment since 3pm Friday and tried numerous times (LA district office), it always says no information appointment available, can someone who have secured the infopass appointment post your experince? has it always been like this? what is the trick, please help, I am currently located (temporaryly) in another state, and planning trip back to LA, so I will really need to make sure i get get in there and get the stamp, really stressed out, if i just show up without an infopass , will i be able to get in?? please gurus, helpme please

Just try on a different day usually earlier in the day.

Don't try to go without an info pass, it will be a wasted journey.
