Can someone go to schoool while on EAD?

EAD is not a status; it is a benefit derived from your "pending adjustment" status. you can certainly go to school in this status, and if your adjustment of status stems from an FB petition, you have absolutely no problems. if EB - be prepared to square fulltime school with employment imperatives when your case comes up for adjudication.
 
I am little confused. I am trying to go to School this August. So if I don't get my GC till then, can I ask my employer to put me on leave of absence and I can start school. Hopefully, i will get my GC after few weeks of school start date
