Can some one Please answer??URGENT!!!

I came back to US in Aug 2005. I was on bench for 2wks and later I started working on a project. I didn't get my pay stubs for the bench period.

My wife just went for her H4 stamping to Chennai Consulate[Sept '05]. She told the visa officer that I just started working on a project. The consulate made a query "What did your husband did during those two weeks?"
Could anyone please tell me how this issue can be resolved?

Even I wanted to know this.
My guess is that, in case we do not get any paystubs, we can definitely request them to issue one.

Also you can say that SSN took longer time but I am not sure on this and am going by your wordings when you said that you went in Aug 05 and was on bench for 2 weeks.

Defintely SSN takes about a 2-3 weeks.
