Can sachin come as opener with sehvag?

His willing to open the innings but team his saying hime come in 4 th down so that rest of the team will get some boasting

What my view is if Kaif is promted to 1st down , since he is good in singles it will help us to score more runs ??

And, Srinath and Khan should open bowling...

The only problem with Sachin opening is, (You dont have to believe me, check all the cricket Archives) That people's expectations of him are too High, and if God forbid he Falls in the early overs, the whole team tumbles right after him.

So I personally believe that he should come in at 1 down or maybe even 2 down.

I would say give him a rest for year.

If you look at recent matches, Sachin is loosing his form where as Dravid is with good consistancy. Overall Sachin beats all others in statistically but at present he is not in mood.

So I think it would be better if management gives him rest for 6 months, he will relax and come back with full form.

Sachin is not the player... taking one run and keep rotating the strike... he is an attacking player...
when he comes at 2 down... he is trying to rotate the strike and it does'nt reap the full potential of him... he jsut becoming a support player... giving strike to another batsman..

Darvid is not a genuine one day player... will practice ball tapping.. and waste balls.... he cannot accelrate scoring in most of the occassions... there are exceptions...

Dravid is in one day team just because he can keep the wicket also.... another namoona is Laxman... does teh same thing..

Today's team is not a one man army like that of Azharuddin era... that time... azhar, jadeja, laxman, all will just come and go when sachin falls... today the young brigade has the ability to fight back... and Sachin scores a century in every 3rd or 4th game..

He must be allowed to come as an opener... I feel so..
after all people love watching him playing strokes in 310 degees !!

I agree, But looking at the fact that he is playing for more than 10 years with out a break. He is the best player ever, I don't under estimate him. When you build a team you have to look for players consistancy.

They are not going to open with him because audience loves watch him playing. We have to win match once in while





after all he is considered as a olderly player, one day everyone has to retire.
