Let me explain my scenario:
* Both self and spouse's 140 approved
* Started 485 process with my company
* Spouse needed to move to a different state with new job
The RD of 485 is FEB 2002. We have been waiting all this time thinking the approval is almost here -- and of course it still has not come through.
Question is:
Now, is it possible to keep the same application, and change the primary applicant from me to the spouse -- so I become the dependant on the application? As we both already have all the information and have the A# and all -- I just wanted to know IF anyone has done this.
Will really appreciate any thoughts on the question -- and yes, I am fully aware that you guys are not here to give legal advice! However -- opinions will be appreciated.
