Can PR Card be mailed???? Please help

Hello, My friend in Canada has just received my PR Card. Can somebody please suggest would it be OK/legal if I ask my friend to mail me my PR Card from Canada to India.

May I ask how was it that your friend received your PR card? I was under the impression that you had to appear in person to receive the card. Could you clarify?

Yes, it's legal to mail it. I personally know quite a few people who have done it. Registered air mail is safe unless you know someone who can hand it over in India.

These days CIC mails your PR to a Canadian address. The 'collect in person' procedure is now a thing of the past.
