Can Pp Stamping Be Delayed??

Me and my wife got FP notices for april 4th.My wife is planning to go to India after FP and she has to remain in India upto Aug2001 for some personal matters.Since it is taking only 1-2 months for I-485 approval after FP is it all right if we delay her PP stamping till Aug2001 Even if her approval comes in between.Can I go ahead and do my stamping alone.Do they give an appointment date for the stamping in the I485 approval notice.
Please help.Thanks .

You can delay the passport stamping.
There is no appointment time given in the approval notice.

   Thankyou for the information.Should we get an appointment from the local INS office after I485 approval for stamping.Can I go ahead and get my passport stamped earlier or should both of us do it together .

Hi, You can go separately for passport stamping.
I and my wife went on different days for stamping.
Local INS offices do not give appointments for passport
stamping. You can go any day.
