Can parents be added to I-485

My parents are not in us at this time can I add them to my I-485, Just curious. Also can the be added as"follow to join " later on.
Also can they be added for CP. Appreciate answers/opinions

Why do people cross-post everywhere? You cannot add your parents or your in-laws to your I-485 (thank God). Wait until you are a citizen.
 
In USA Parents are NOT considered part of family.

Parents cannot be added in your I485 petition even tho they are your dependents. You have to get GC and then file for them. Its a long road but do this once you get your GC and after 6 or 7 years when u become citizen convert the file if they are not here by the time.

Only your spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 qualify as your dependents for immigration purposes.
