Can only my husband apply for EAD?

Our EAD will expire on 12/23 this year. He wants to renew his EAD, but I am on H1, so I don't want to renew mine. It is me who applied 140 and 485. Is this ok that he renew EAD but I don't? Any information will be appreciated.

As long as both of you have pending I-485, either of you can apply for EAD without affecting the other person. There should be no problem if your husband applies for renewal of EAD.
