I believe cong/senator ppl would not helpful much in namecheck expedite, unless they see very geniune case. i.e 485 pending long and pastdue by USCIS processing date and namecheck still pending.
Do try and contact to cong.
2. you can use ur attorney to send letter to USCIS and ask expedite Namecheck, even no criteria ur case fall.
3. You can also send regular mail to Name check division directly and request them of status and expedite, if u are lucky u may see progress.

Compose 2 simple Letter (minimum lines) include your info like name addr phone, email, ur Alien #(impt), with requesting them to give the status or ur name-check, als tell them ur PD is 2001. and request them to expedite.
