Can my spouse enter into USA before effective date of H4 visa status.

Hello Rajiv Sir,



I am on my Cap Gap (F1 to H1b COS) and my H1B will be effective from Oct 1st , 2011 , i am planning to send my spouse for H4 visa and whether she is eligible to travel to US before my H1b effective date if she gets H4 visa.

In normal cases we can travel 10 days before effective date , is there any special permission for dependents of persons in COS ?

Same rules apply for both H4 and H1.
