I am concurrently filing for I-140 and I-485, and I plan to get married soon. Since my spouse is not in US, can he apply for CP abroad while my application is pending? Or he cannot until my I-140 gets approved? Under the new rule, I-140 will be approved together with I-485. Can he still file CP after my I-485 is approved? Thank you!
