I and a US Citizen and have filed a petition for my wife. Since I am also in india with my wife I don't have a income. I have a brother in texas who is on H1b. I and my brother used to live in same address before I left USA. Currently living with my wife in India and waiting on her petition to be approved.
Questions
1. Since I don't have a income can my brother sign I-864A(Contract between household members) being a H1b. Can I show his income and his assets to qualify for I-864 requirement.
2. Is it true that if I Need to qualify for I-864 using assets I just need to show my saving 3 times the federal poverty line, Since I am applying for my spouse?
3. For the tax return since I did not made any income in 2019 can I rely on tax return for 2018 and 2017. I don't have a tax return for 2019 since I dont have any income.
4. I and my brother also have a joint account. Can I show that account to qualify using assets?
