My friend just returned from the UK and only had 3 days left on his L1, immigration stamped his I94 for just the 3 days. He married a us citizen last month and did not understand the correct process for applying for adjustment of status. Because he has to leave tomorrow, is it possible for him to hand deliver an L1 extension application to Vermont? This will enable him to stay in status and apply for adjustment of status immediately. Any other idea's welcome.
