Can I work Part Time on 1099 using EAD

Hi!

I am working on EAD, full time with my employer who has sponsored my Green Card. I ahve a part time job apportunity. Can I work for some other employer and get paid using 1099.
Will there be any complications in future while processing of my I-485?

If No Complications, what is the Process I need to follow if I am allowwed to work with 1099.

Your opinion will help me in my decision making.

No problems. You could go work part time at McDonalds if that is what you like. There are no work restrictions on EAD. I started a business on the side while on my EAD. (I still maintain my full time position with my sponsor though).

When you start your new job, they'll have you fill out the typical HR/IRS forms and will take a photocopy of your EAD for their files. (At least they should).

That's all there is to it. It's not a big deal at all.

Can you tell me, how to take care of Taxation. Since I will be working on 1099, I have to pay taxes quarterly. What Taxes I have to pay and what is the Procedure.
