My green card processing is going on (RD Aug 01). Currently I changed
my job as per AC 21.I work on EAD, Is there any problem in working on 1099 basis.
Do I need to change to W2? , Any comments appreciated?

YOu job should be FULL TIME regular and indefinite. 1099 does not seem to support any of these requirements sinc 1099 are for contractors who work for a definite duration.

All is well as long as you do not get RFE. Actually speaking you cannot work on 1099 as an independent contractor till you get your GC. You can work on hourly basis thru an employer who will support your GC application in case of a RFE.
