Can I work from my university dorm for a foreign company

Hi All,
I am a Graduate students on F1 visa. I started my school this fall. However my company in India wants me to work for them on a part time basis ( 8 hours a week). This job requires me to work from my dorm and they can pay me either in India or in USA. I prefer to receive my salary in US bank.

I am wondering if this is legally possible ? It looks like this does not confirm to "On campus Job"

NO!!!

Go by your international student office. They can advise you of the legal ways you can work.
