Can I work for another employer, other than GC Sponsor, with a valid EAD

Please advise me whether i can work for another employer, other than the GC sponsoring employer on a fulltime job with a valid EAD. My sponsoring employer does not have any objections. My attorney says this "You need not maintain full time employment with GC sponsor while I-485 is pending but you MUST when I-485 is approved. "

That too even before 6 months of 485 filing.

I understand that INS can issue RFEs during the 485 processing, if RFE requires paystubb, would it be a problem if I produces the new employer's paystubb? Do I need to use AC21? Which will be safest approach?

I would appreciate your thoughts.
