Can I work as a fulltime intern under OPT?

Hi all,

I would like to know whether i'm allowed to work as a temporary full-time employee (40 hours/week, but paid hourly as an intern instead of a permanent employee with a degree), under OPT. My employer is willing to hire me as an intern under OPT. Is this allowed under OPT?

Yes, as long as the work is in your field of study there is no restriction on paying hourly/monthly or otherwise.
