Can I use the old labor date while filing I140 via PERM labor?

Hi There,

Here is the situation and question in my mind.

I am working with an Employer A and filed for a Labor on EB3, I140 filed and approved.

As I am in need of finding a new employer and one of the employers is interested in filing a new labor in PERM

My question is

Can I use the labor date of the approved I140 to the new labor filing? If yes, when can I get the effective date changed and how?
What would be situation if my Employer A revoke the I140 (approved) after getting my dates adjusted with I140 filed by New employer

To my knowledge priority date is portable if your I-140 is approved. So in your case you can use the old priority date even though you are starting your GC process afresh.
