can I use POBox as an address?

I'm preparing to apply for my parents GC but I expect to move within the state in the near future. To avoide lost mail and all the trouble with changing address forms, can I use a POBox as my address? I seem to remember that INS doesn't send documents to POBoxes but I don't remember how accurate that information is. Thank you!
