Can I use old labor cert to get a older priority date?

Hi,

I applied gc in my previous company - A, the priority date is Nov 2003 (EB-3), I left company A and joined the current company - B in 2005 (labor cert in backlog center). I applied gc in company B, labor cert and I-140 both cleared, the priority date is Jan 2005 (EB-2). Last week HR of company A called me and told me labr cert is cleared, can I ask company A to apply I-140 for me? If I get the I-140 from company A, can I use the old priority date - Nov 2003? Do I have to work for company A during I-140 application?

Once the Both I-140 are approved you can port thr priority dates.
